The authors of this study combined transcriptomics and revererse genetics approaches to identify the long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) that are implicated in Group 3 Medulloblastoma. They used the CytoSMART Exact (formerly known as the Corning Cell Counter) to seed the D283 MED cells in the desired concentration and perform a viability test using tryphan blue. Alltogether, they found three lncRNAs that are directly involved in the phenotypes of Medulloblastoma cancer cell phenotypes.
